Anyone Use Clickpic?
Based in the UK, Clickpic.com ... *the easy to use service for Photographers who
want a website without the major cost and rigmarole of setting up a Site* ...
They are also advertising in Photography Magazines in New Zealand offering the Service in NZ$ Dollars.
I would ask an opinion here, a review sort of, as some UK Members use the Clickpic Services.
Are You happy with the Service and what You pay for?
Would You, a User of Clickpic, recommend this Service to others?
Have a nice Summer Day,
ttfn, Tedz *salute*

I have used clikpic for about two years. Costs about £80 a year, plus about £20 for domain names. That's 'professional' level which gives you 400 images capacity and some extra features in the software. I have had no problems whatsoever. I should think if your computing skills are a bit limited you may find it a bit tricky to set up initially - but once up and running it's easy. The content management is very easy to use - very similar to this PT site. If you have a Paypal account you can sell on-line, but I don't know how successful that is. I doubt that many people buy images on-line.
People criticise the fact that clikpic sites lack individuality. I don't agree, it should be the images that make your site, not the software. I did hear last year that Clikpic are eventually hoping to turn the site into an agency for images. That might be very useful for members if it happens.
