Or you could get the rather nifty IETab addon for Firefox - one click changes the rendering engine from Firefox to IE, without leaving Firefox

Never knew there was such an addon. Thanks for the tip will get that installed asap.
Do you still need ie on your machine or can you bin it. I assume you can bin it altogether.

Have you tried the no script and piclens extentions. No script is pretty good and piclens is brilliant.

Great! Though I would not advise for the novice, as there are known Bugs still to be dealt with.
The reason I use the US Portal, download.com ... part of Cnet, is mainly because of reviews, not all are *pro* the Software, so it is good to see the
*anti* views as well.
I don't think this is going to be ready for the Public until June ... so if You become familiar Barry, We may have to come the Geek questions with You.
*salute*

been using mozilla firefox for a long time now... IE just cant compete and apple safari are way behind on their addons and plug ins...
when downloading mozilla dont forget to search the mozilla site for ... java and flash otherwise you will have trouble on some web sites.... also adblock plus which will block those annoying adverts...
also while your there ... pic lens is a great little photo browser that is hand for photo sites and browsing them
