Ohh and by the way,doe's anyone no how to delete the browsing history on firefox can work out how to delete the days sites but not the sites searched in the top right hand box i want to delete everything like i did in explorer by clicking on delete all and ticking the little box that did the lot,would be most useful if i could do this on firefox (if you know what i mean lads....  ).

Mail struggled to find one of my gmail accounts,
I had to go in to the account online and allow pop3 access, looks like it'll be IMAP access for AOL, you might find a setting somewhere.

use the tabs along the top of the box and follow your nose. privacy and security are what you need to look at

I'm quite sure i don't know what your talking about mate....  you won't be disappointed with Firefox i only obviously discovered it recently and it's a bit weird trying to work out what to do but it's really cool.
Glad i started this thread now maybe it will speed a few of us up a bit LOL....

Have you got it sorted yet, if not you use a 'pop.aol.com or co.uk' and use 'smtp.aol.com or co.uk' for your outgoing server.

I mainly use firefox and find it the best but I also have others loaded so I can test my web page creations before sending to clients. A good idea would be to use FireFox along side ie until you are 100% sure you are happy with it.

Yeh have still got explorer as well, but have already started loading up Firefox as because of the speed/flexibility/control etc etc think it's going to be much better for me (think ex might end up in the bin LOL)....

I also use Opera and Netscape, like you for testing websites. I only find IE7 a pain in the backside as pages take on a totally different look from the other browsers.
