This Plugin, Virtual Photographer, is an excellent Tool, it does very good
conversion from Colour to B&W with preview, also some other easy to use presets.
I use this as a Plugin with PhotoShop Elements 4 (educational version ... use your student i.d. for discount)
Virtual Photographer is a Free Download and I would recommend it as an easy way to alter, tone, and experiment with Your Images.
