Lightbulb High Pass Sharpening

Tutorial on high pass sharpening, thought some of you might like.

Thanks for the link, I do all of my sharpening via Photokit Sharpener which is just about the only add on I use.

Thanks for the link. I will try this.. I have tried the high pass filter but didn't care for the way it looked and this may fix the problem I was having...

I agree with alistair Photokit sharpener is one of the best sharpening plugins around and has been for a number of years.

I use photokit myself and never think about using anything else.

using the high pass filter and the blending mode together works well... i tend to use vivid light

I learned about high pass sharpening some time ago and rarely use anything else now. I like the degree of control available and the ability to use masking to vary the application.
