A bit late for this but here goes anyway. I have both LR and PS, they are hungry beasts. They use a lot of memory. I have 1Gb and they are a bit slow when working together, but Ok when one is idle. A fast processor is also a help but it seems that memory is the main bottleneck. I hope this helps.

Ditto, its the spec of the PC maybe and particularly the RAM available 1gb min really as this prog does eat PC resource.

bit late for this thread too but i have 4gb ram and i still could do with more...

I think you need a fast procceser and plenty of ram on my laptop its rubbish only 512 ram! on my desktop dual core and 4gb of ram no trouble am going to up my ram on laptop to a gb see what happens!
