In this case I used continuous focus for narrow DOF and good picturing the motion effect.

Hi Cleano, I like the composition and colours in this image, but felt that it was the lead riding that you really needed in focus.

Hello Barry!

Thanks for your comments and crit. You know I had other philosophy when I made this shot. I would have liked to emphasize and show the second competitor's struggling for getting ahead...
Your suggestion would have been right, also, but everything is relative, this is a typical example of that.

I know i said this about my last comment to you,but what about cropping half of the leader off to emphasise the fact he's faster so therefore leaving the frame, with the guy behind chasing???
