Default Regatta On Saturday

Photographers Comments
Not sure if I have put this into the right forum ... There was a regatta on Sat. The weather wasnt great . the sun wasnt out and there was delays because ... NO wind out there on the water .. Isnt that the way .. when u want wind, none of it and when u dont want it .. almost a hurricane .. lol .. Thought I would try HDR again ..
Cheers

This is a good clean image but I feel that the boat and horizon are too central giving a static feel to the image. The boat *may* have been sitting still in the water but moving the boat to the left a little so that it had space to 'move into' and either highering or lowering the horizon would have given it a more dynamic feel. It looks a little grainy but I feel that adds to the atmosphere, I love the look of the sky. The rocks in the foreground look a little overdone though, as there seem to be artifacts in the darker area.
