I took so many photos trying to get the face in focus and this was the best with my first outing with my Sig 80mm-400mm,cant wait to go this year with the new D300!!! Might actually get a few im happy with.

good one mate, in the pre digital age took 4 x 36 rolls of film for 4 shots! motor sport is tough gig. we need to go and watch mayebe donno?

This is a very good shot. You got the moment perfectly. (NIKON is NIKON!). Did you use tripod?

Cheers Mate,always use a monopod for sports & events as getting close to the action along with 3 million other people and a tripod is a pain in the proverbial you know what...

Steve, you will have so much fun with the D300, I have been playing with mine at practice, before I start commentating the sprints etc, that burst rate with a race car coming through a bend is awesome..

Excellent shot mate. If you had done it with a canon the front wheel would have been off the ground
