wouldn't using a monopod help with panning shots? although a lot slower i had good results from the lawn mower racing using 1/25 shutter speeds

Did you konw that if the frsit and last letrtes in a word are kpet in the same oredr, the rset can be meixd up, yet you wlil stlil be able to raed it pferclety

Did use a monopod, sure its an 8am start (do you know Darren??) Cheers Guys for all the comments think i was either to slow or too quick with the shutter speeds. Just have to have another go. Shame you cant come Merv, you could deaf the wedding its only your sister. Reference the framing was trying to get bottom third and as you say somewhere for the car to go in the frame, so was probably firing the shutter too early as well.

LOL Does Darren know the start time, he is going as well if you read the thread. My lad says its early but he has been known to get things well wrong. Its darker in sept and its a six hour race so it will deffo be a.m.
