Default Silverstone Odd Race
Photographers Comments
Had a cracker of a day out with Dennis and Zoë on Saturday.
This was one of the oddest and most entertaining races Ive ever seen! Old skool BTCC cars, a Noble, a Viper, Suzuki Swift, Mk2 Escort and a 306 and many more all hacking round at the same time.
Might post a few more of these over next few days if I got any good ones.

It was a brilliant day! And definitely one of the oddest races i've ever seen!!! But brilliant!!! I havent been through my shots yet!

Great shot Merv. Hope i have something even half this good!!

Great shot and brilliant panning love them primeras in their day they were quite fast.

Hi Merv,

I met you, Zoe and Dennis on Saturday and have now joined up (as you suggested). I also have a few pics from the day, one or two I might put up.

I like the shot you have put up, you seem to have got it bright and vibrant. I found that most of my pics are a little 'muted' in tone. A lot were taken in the morning when it was overcast, so it may be that. Or it may be the cheap lense I'm currently using, I'm going to start saving for something better.

Anyway, thanks for suggesting joining up.

Hi Merv, Great photo .. can see the wheels are a spinning . and the bg is blurred so you really have the sense of speed ...

Impression of speed well captured with blurred background, wheels blurred, good composition with the cars having space to run into. Gives a real impression of them being 'on the edge' helped by the angle of the shot. Bet that's not your first motor racing photograph!

Hi Darren, looking at your shot and mine, and then looking at my shots of the Mondeo, I thinnk it was the paint job on the car, mine look dull too, nice to meet you
