Hi Pete,

I'm not usually keen on filter effects however I think that this Topaz-Filter-thingy-bobby is a bit special. Love the rich colour it gives and I think that the scene you have chosen to apply it to really brings it into its own .... full of colour and busyness. A feast for the eye to roam over. And its all set off by the guy pulling on the rope of the balloon which is out of sight but casting a very large & looming shadow ...... good stuff, like it.

Cheers, Dave B.

Thanks for your comments Dave, I agree you have to be careful with all the various filters and effects,Topaz can enhance the right image doesn't always work but I was pleased with this one.

I like the image, plenty going on, composition is good with the two balloons in the foreground balancing each other. I'm not keen on the filter effect and would love to see the shot without it.

I'm off to Bristol in August for the balloon fiesta, hope the weather's kind.

cheers

Daniel
