AutoPost is coming - what you need to know!

The 14th is quickly approaching so I just wanted to let members know what to do about their gallery photos after AutoPost is live and the gallery comments system has been turned off.

As you will be aware, on the 14th we are turning off the gallery comment system. One of AutoPosts features is to import existing comments on your photos and add them as replies to the newly created AutoPost critique threads.

If you do not AutoPost your photos, all the photos comments will remain hidden so you have a couple of options but this only needs to be done once.

When AutoPost is live, a little house keeping needs to be done in your personal gallery but this is completely optional. There are simply two options:

AutoPost all your photos
Visit all of your photos in your gallery and submit each and every photo to the Critique & Help forums. This way all comments left by members will be moved across with each AutoPost thread.

AutoPost some of your photos
Visit all of your photos in the gallery and only choose the photos you really want to submit for critique. Doing this will hide comments that other members have made previously on photos you do not AutoPost. The comments will not be completely lost, you can always AutoPost remaining photos for critique at a later date and any comments will be appended as replies at that time.

The above is only needed for photos submitted prior to the launch of AutoPost and the photos you submit to the critique forums are voluntary.

The Gallery comments have now been turned off in preparation for the launch of AutoPost. None of the comments have been lost but you will need to read the above to know what you need to do.
