Chums, so sorry for not getting around to this. An unexpected enforced break away from all things photo/interweb for approx three weeks (a long story, I won't bore you). I did have a look for this article but it must be hiding away in a dark recess of my hard drive. Never fear, I'll draft something up and you can see what you think of it.
Ah, it's good to be back on-line. The upside is that I've earned soooooo many brownie points over the last three weeks I reckon I can live off them for the rest of the year

Hi, im new to this site and just wondering about the whole size thing. iv just checked my pics and they're 1.2MB in size, what's the best way to down-size them without losing the quality? i have access to photoshop.

Hi Victoria, If you open your image in photoshop and go for 'Save for Web' you will be able to resize your image so that it is no bigger than 800px along it's longest size and a maximum of 256Kb in file size.
