Perhaps photographers could note in their description whether or not the image was edited so viewers could see the difference and also learn from that. And also, people critiqing would know what they are critiquing on.

Now I'm thinking it might be incredibly helpful if there was an option to upload the unedited image as well as the edited image - this way someone like myself (a complete amateur) can gain very valuable insights into how images can be manipulated and improved upon .... as well as gaining advice on whether or not an attempt at editing has actually 'helped' an image or been detrimental ......

hmmmm this could be possible *old brain matter ticking away*, I'll have to think how I can add something like what you have suggested and tie it in so it all works seamlessly. This could be a bit of a challenge!

Spot of there Barry
OK, in response to a earlier problem, there is now a delete option available. You can still use the gallery delete image options if the image has not been AutoPosted but you can now find a new Delete Image button in your project queue when you have uploaded the image to make things more convenient. As with the main gallery image delete option, you will only be able to remove an image if it has NOT been AutoPosted for critique.
When clicking on this new button, you will get the second chance dialog as displayed in the attached image.

Paul,
Thankyou for your efforts to make all this work so well! I must apologise for adding more to your 'challenges' & workload with my 'musings' regarding edited images! I'm sure I speak for everyone here when I say that all you do is very appreciated.

There's no need to apologise Lanita, all members suggestions and feedback is what helps make features such as this one more successful and much better. I'm just glad I've got the skills to deliver things like this for you guys which makes us very unique compared to quite a few other sites.
Keep those suggestions coming
There are a couple of things that I though I could add to PP last night which are the inclusion of shutter speed and aperture. I'm just deciding how best to make them an option taking the other options mind so the random selections don't become very hard to impossible

Why not put them in the same field? So you get either f/16 or 1/2000s (for example) instead of both which would make it difficult unless you're looking at the sun lol.

Should there be a option for people using compact cameras who do not have the choice of lens.
