I don't know how I missed this amazing new look yesterday, probably because I went straight to the site via an email reply.....due to yet another blond moment I only found it now. LOL. Anyway it's a brilliant addition to the site, thanks Paul

I haven't been around much lately due to new job etc (and the missus broke her foot last week), but I do try and make a visit daily to view the site (normally at 3-4am!!!!).

What a difference. Love the new site updates. The site just keeps on getting better daily.

Hoping work will settle down now over the next week or so (if the new drivers are ok).

Looking forward to more new updates

Thanks again for everyone comments and good to see you back on Mark .

Another little change has occurred on our homepage

Right above the recent thread column, I have coded a new block that will list all our active competitions so visitors (and yourselves of course) can immediately see from the homepage we are running competitions.

A small little add-on but I think it fits in quite nice and gives more visibility to our competitions to attract more members.

I've made a small little change to the homepage to help further raise awareness there are images for critique. I've noticed that a number of photos that have been uploaded have not been AutoPosted for critique. To make members more aware that critique is required, the thumbnail block has been renamed to Latest Photos Posted for Critique and I have added an extra row of images and now only the photos that have been AutoPosted by members that require critique will show in this thumbnail block.

I have started to use the homepage religiously to see the latest images people need critique and advice on and the new changes will help other members who use it in the same way I do.

I'm also going to add another main page that will give a much bigger view of the latest photos for critique to further help and hopefully encourage more comments etc.

I'm off to do that now, will have something for you guys in the next hour or so.

looking good Paul. I havent made any comments on the new look as i wanted to let it ride with me for a while. Everything looks great, the only thing i dont like is on the last homepage we had a link that took us the all of the recent posts in a table form over several pages. now i have to look at each category from the forums by one. not exactly a hardship just was very handy having the full list of latest posts. just one observation and the only crit i have really...keep up the good work Chappie

Thanks Andy but not sure what you mean. I can't remember taking anything away like that before I started to update the homepage. There are link on the left of each page that will show various combinations of posts and the centre column on the homepage have the most recent posts. Please tell me what I'm missing mate.

As promised, I have added a new feature that is an enhanced version of the "latest images for critique" block on the homepage. The new page will show the last 50 images posted for critique and you can find the new link on the right of every page in the new navigation box called Photo Critiques. I hope this will give our critique areas a lot more focus as this is a very important part of our site.
