I'm very pleased to announce a brand new challenge that we will be running along side our normal challenges. The new challenges will actually be competitions where the winner can win a cash prize.
To enter in our new "Cash Prize Competitions" or CPC for short, firstly you'll need to purchase credits in order to be able to submit an entry. This is done via our credit purchasing system with payments processed via paypal.com You'll easily be able to identify a CPC by seeing the current amount you could potentially win on the homepage and by visiting our main challenge page just like in the image below: Click to toggle zoom ![]() The value after the pound sign is the amount the winning pot is currently at and the more people that enter, the BIGGER the prize you stand to win. You will win 70% of the total prize fund for that competition with the remaining 30% going towards paypal fees and a very small amount towards hosting which could mean that if this takes off and becomes successful, we could remove all the google ads. Now that would be cool, more space for your images! When you visit a challenge / competition and it's a CPC you'll see a little more information just like below: Click to toggle zoom ![]() You will see exactly how many credits you have left and how many credits the competition is to enter. If you do not have enough credits, just click on the Click here to purchase credits link and you'll be taken to our credit purchasing page: Click to toggle zoom ![]() From this page, enter the amount of credits you wish to purchase (GBP), click on the Checkout button and you'll be re-directed to paypal to make your secure payment. Important: Once you have made your payment, make sure you are automatically re-directed back to this site or click on the link on the paypal page to get straight back here otherwise your credits will not update automatically. If for any reason this process does not complete, please let me know as soon as possible via PM or Email so I can update your account with the credits purchase as quickly as possible. How is the winner paid? At the end of the competition and once everyone has judged the entries using our unique judging system, I will be in touch via PM or email I can arrange the winnings to be transferred to you back via paypal. I hope you'll like this new feature as i'm sure you'll agree it'll add a bit of excitement to these new challenges. If you're worrying about having to pay for all challenges from now on, please don't. We'll still be running the current challenges in the same format which will be free and fun to enter. The new CPC's will compliment what we have already. Last edited by Paul; 25-06-2009 at 08:59. |

As long as it is not restricted to People, as not all of us take these type of shots.

Well there's always something somebody doesn't do isn't there?

It's open to interpretation Barry but if you can think of something more suitable to reach a wider audience, please let me know, we need something that does not have many restrictions.

Agree with what Merv said, we all have our favourite subjects as we have found out in the normal challenges where some subjects are far more popular than others. But at the moment I can't think of anything to get the ball rolling, so whatever subject you come up with we will go for it.
