Default New "Video Tutorials" forum introduced.

"A picture speak a thousand words" and while on my travels across the net I've discovered that there a lots of video tutorials available and thought it would good to bring some of them here.

You can visit the new forum here: http://www.phototopix.co.uk/video-tutorials/

To be able to view the video inside posts, a new video player has been added to the community. To paste your own video into a post, simply copy the link into the post and that's all there is to it.

The following are supported:
  • YouTube
  • Google
  • MySpace
  • MetaCafe
  • Yahoo
You can now post video content to any forum as long as it's related to the forum or thread!

Hope you enjoy.

Its a fantastic idea. There is so much to learn from the free tutorials ( speaking for myself, I need all the help I can get.)

To diverse, although this is an imaging site, is there any likelyhood in the near future of incorporating video footage from members. Most have some means of recording same, be it with a still camera mobile phone or video camera. Could bring up a few "laughs"

Member video footage maybe something we can take a look at in the future but I feel now at the moment, we need to keep the emphasis on the good old single frame shots.

Hosting video has it's own of technical difficulties and we are not really in the right infrastructure to deliver videos but you never know may might happen

Thanks for the suggestion though, definitely food for thought!
