Really liking the new layout Paul,
Needs a little getting used to again but won't be long before we are all skipping merrily through the pages here. Any newbies will easily settle in with this layout. Great stuff.

Hi Paul
I know you and your team are working extremely hard to give us a better working environment on the forum and I really appreciate that, it’s very easy to navigate but I find the very strong colours on a stark white background I little distracting, I hope I’m not upsetting you too much by saying this it’s only my opinion.
Bryan.
Ps I notice on the reply just above this post the background is ivory a much better colour in my opinion.

New Layout
Dont know if its my monitor but all the text seems blurry as if its set at a much different resolution than my monitor. 1400 x 1050
any small text looks ok but the larger text looks well blurry!if i lower the resolution it gets worse!

either!!!
i have spotted the difference, inthe new layout it expands to the full width of my screen either in firefox or explorer and the text then looks blurry when i go back to original the page shrinks with borders either side.
looked at settings, changed text sizes and all sorts and cant seem to cure it.

I've been looking at this I think that the white isn't that bad now in my eyes as i've been working on the style for a while so I've gotten used to it. Bryan, give it a week or so and please let me know how you get on with the white.

I've tried the style on various monitor PC setups and not able to see any blur on the text.

Regardless of the style being fixed or fluid it shouldn't affect the font display. Firstly can you attach a screen shot with some of the affected text to this thread so we can see what you are seeing on our screens, this will tell me a lot.
Secondly, do you have clear type activated on your pc?
