When the time comes yes.. it's still "very" early stage yet but I've a clear mission of simplicity and ease of use..... we will also move away from 3rd party software such as vbulletin and photo post for the gallery, we will be very unique with the new site.

One other "massive" problem for me with the current site is that I'm not able to upgrade the forum software and gallery software we use now as we have so many customisations in the forum code for example, upgrading the forum software will overwrite the lot and as a result we are running behind with a lot of updates of the past 2 years. I'm really not happy to be in this position, it's restricted me from doing a lot more for you guys.

The new site is being developed from the ground up but I'm running the development along side the current sites data so no content is lost so when the new site is live, all or most of the content such as forum posts, gallery images, challenges etc. will be there.

I've a massive task ahead but in the next few months, the new site will be at a stage where testers will be needed but this time, rather than asking a few people it will be open to public testing so I'm able to capture a lot more feedback and suggestions as well as being made aware of more bugs and issues.

When we are ready for public beta testing, you'll see an brand new forum in this current site that will be used for everyone to tell me their thoughts and discuss all aspects of the new site and it's functionality.

One thing I will promise is that the new site, although it will be streamlined and simple to use to attract many more members, it will pack a serious punch in functionality and a rich feature set that will put most if not all other photography sites to shame. I know that's a big statement to make but just watch this space Lot's of great things are on the drawing board and will be seen for the very first time in the new site.
