congratulations to the winners. What i found to be so much fun was the 'who dun it' factor. I guessed who did the Arizona christmas tree but the other 2 were such surprises!!!!..great fun!

Hi Fay, looking at my picture you would never have guessed a sensitive looking soul like me would photograph a table decoration!
I photographed shopping centre (malls to you i guess) decorations, xmas trees, christmas decorations (my warm up). and anything xmas that moved what it taught me was........
i had to accept the limitations of my point and shoot camera, its not good at distance without a tripod, its not too hot in the dark, its not an expensive Nikon or Canon with a smokey lense (wish it was).
But it did do decent close up shots in natural light on my 'gorillapod' (mini tripod). so that is what i set up and shot. It was a complete surprise to a) even get in the top 5 and b) to come second in the competition. I am going to buy a book with my prize on how to do layers and stuff and try and improve.
It was a very good way of running a competition and hats off to Paul and the Guys..
