Christmas 2007 Photo Competition

RULE CHANGES

Let’s be known as the photography forum that responds and responds quickly to members wishes and strives always to be fair.

The rule limiting entries to the 2007 Christmas competition is now scraped entries are welcomed from around the world!

At this point, we have no idea how we’ll get suitable prizes to the winners, that’s something we’ll work out on a case by case basis.

I’d just like to say that creating and judging a photo competition with entrants from around the world isn’t easy but be assured that we will do our utmost to be fair to all and it isn’t necessarily an entry of snow covered mountains that will win, it could just as easily be a slug in a Santa hat!

Just to clarify, rule 9 is dropped and rule seven is amended to

7. To be eligible to vote, you must have been a member for a minimum of seven days prior to the end of the competition.

If I win...I'll just catch the next boat of refugees to pick up my prize. my grandmother immigrated from Ireland on an old cattle boat....so, it wouldn't kill me.

come on guys we dont wanna sit here and have to pick between a few pics ... what have you got to lose? the prize money would buy a bottle of something nice... some new film etc

Alistair, you bugger, doesn't give me much time does it. and I haven't taken any shots for the last month, my camera is playing up, my poor FZ1 (only 1 megapixel) has been around Iraq even. Saving madly for the FZ50, I'll see what I can do, NO snow around here mmmmmm. I'll think of something just for you. (HELP).....HAHAHA....Josie

Being a newbie, how do I upload a photo. When I click the scrolling banner I get a message to say I do not have permission to upload.

Welcome Dave, But I think you may have to skip this one as you need to be a member of this forum for at least severn days before entering comps.
