Default Photo Challenge: Repetition

Repetition

Challenge Description
Patterns, repeating in our environment or in our lives. Must convey clear repetition in the image. This should be captured in camera rather than photoshop work to give all members a chance.

Challenge Dates
Open for entries on: 30/04/2009
Judging start on: 11th May 2009
Judging and challenge ends: 17/05/2009 (Midnight)

General Rules
  • 1. All images submitted must be your own work
  • 2. Manipulation of an image is perfectly acceptable as is compositing.
  • 3. By entering this challenge, you agree to a limited release to PhotoTopix to use your image in any media they see fit, for the sole purposes of promoting the site. If your image is chosen for site promotion, PhotoTopix will contact you to make you aware of the intentions and to obtain final agreement for your image to be used. As the photographer, you retain any copyright to your image.
  • 4. Entrants under 16 must obtain written permission from a parent or guardian before entering.
  • 5. It is the entrant`s responsibility to ensure that all the necessary permissions are obtained from people featured in a photograph where necessary
  • 6. Entrants will be deemed to have understood the above rules and accepted them and agree to be bound to them when entering the challenge.
  • 7. Phototopix reserves the right to cancel this challenge at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside its control.
  • 8. If a winning entrant is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made to do so when a prize is available, Phototopix reserves the right to either offer the prize to the next best entry, or to re-offer the prize in any future challenge on phototopix.co.uk.

As the server issues knocked the challenge schedule out i have re-adjusted and posted this one so we have something to do for the next fortnight. I have allowed 2 entries per person so one individual cant have the top 3! Lets see some bumper entries for this to get us back on track.

Smarty pants, got me formulas in my schedule spreadsheet wrong by 3 days! Sorted now its 14days from start to finish!
