I know the sign that I want to take a image of, I think you will like it, let's hope that it stops raining here long enough for me to get me camera out. As the weekend weather is not looking very good here.

OK so today I went out to get a sign picture- had an idea so off I went. Got an image that looked good- just the right lighting- everything worked. While out I decided to go into town for another one I wanted to try. By now it was rush hour and I got caught in a mess of traffic- my irritation level is going up- gave up on that shot and came home. downloaded the first shot- cool- glance at EXIF info- 12 minutes too early. ARRRGH. Light still looks reasonable and no rain yet so back in the car for 2nd try- Get back to site and there are 2 large trucks parked right where I wanted to be with some kind of shifty looking characters in them- not the sort I would want to ask to move. Decided to wait them out so toured the nearby cemetary and the business park. Went back and they were still there. Frustration level now really going up. Light was getting bad so gave up on that project and may try again tomorrow- probably in the rain. Yuck! So continuing home- past the lake that they draw down in the winter so now it is largely mud flats. Not real attractive. Do see an egret feeding that might be a shot so stop and take a couple- not close enough- so traverse a large steep area of huge rocks to get down there. Of course once there the egret leaves. Back up the bank and so goes my day.....
