This was taken in my third year of Uni (2006) in the studio. Just going through some of my old work and finding some quite nice stuff! I cant seem to get rid of the white on her shoulder from the light, any tips?

Nice shot Zoe (how do you get the 2xdots?) Good lighting and composition.

I edited for the light on the shoulder. I selected a small area and used Photo Retouche filters that I've just got. But you could have used edit/adjust/highlight/shadows. Haven't posted as you specified 'ask me first'.

Really nice picture Zoe,
I personally would prefer it if the splash of light on the left was cloned out. One method I use is to duplicate the layer then mask everything out except the arm then use the burn tool on it. Set correctly the burn tool should do a pretty god job of it. You don,t allow edits on your photos so I am unable to demo for you but it,s easy enough.

Edited as stated earlier. It hasn't made a huge difference. I also took out some of the light trail on the left, but that might have been a mistake.

Hi again Zoe,
Thanks for letting me have a go. Hope this looks something like you was expecting. Used the healing brush and the burn tool plus layer masking. I have not overdone it as the colour is leading down to the shoulder. If that makes sense.

Gorgeous lighting here, man i remember when i had black BG's and i could do creative lighting and have fun..now i am the floor manager for a sausage factory..sorry i mean senior photographer for family portrait studio..
not to sure on the pose of the leg, i want to crop in further but i still love this shot..touch warm for me..
one other thing...when searching on the latest 50 photos....your caption was uni(2005) but above its uni(2006) how weird..?

Andy- yeah i'd uploaded it as uni 2005 then just before i put it up for crit i realised it was acutally 2006!! I assumed it would change the first one but obviously not!! Thank you for the comments, much appreciated. I did wonder about cropping in further but wasn't sure!
