Hi again mate,
Just a quick tip that might be of use to you and anyone else reading this thread. When I do something for the 1st time in PS I always make notes on the steps taken and filters used. I have just recently started doing it and it really helps. You can make and add notes in PS and failing that make notes with word and keep in a folder with the psd file.
Cheers

You have a pretty daughter Dennis, she has beautiful eyes. Agree with the crop, great shot nice and sharp with a relaxed pose.
hope you don't mind, done a crop in PS and put an edge on.

Isn't that the beauty of the random images. We can crit on older images we may have missed the first time round.

I think the potential was very good here for a great shot. But there are one or two things that detract a little. The light between top and bottom seems too out of balance - her hair blends too much with the dark background, and her jeans are a little blown out. Her hands are nice, but they look a little clumsy, as if she didn't know where to hold them. Am I being too critical? Sorry. She is a pretty girl.
Edit: sorry, need to qualify what I said. I do like the look of the shot, the texture and feel of it is very good, but I think it shows very well how you need to think very carefully about the detail of all shots. It could have been excellent.

Hi Smoothie, missed your comments on this, was when i was having issues with Pc i reckon. Here is the cropped original, this was 2 weeks after i took up togging seriously when Phillipa was ill the first time last year. I took up the photography to give me a release as it took its toll on me as well. This was shot Jpeg on a point and shoot. the version i posted wasnt in the original colours and was a bit of an experiment.

She's beautiful Den, but no one needs to tell you that..Phillipa seems to be quite a natural at the modeling!
Goes to show you dont need all the flash gear to take good pictures, ok it needed the crop but you have sorted that, and im no portrait expert but it looks good to me!
