The thing that interests me most about this image is not only the obvious physical changes during the pregnancy term but also the emotional changes as can be seen on the facial expression of the mother. This image will accompany The mothers arms as a set.

Me neither. The only thing I have seen anywhere similar is the evolution from ape to man thing....and thats hardly the same!

Great Idea mate. Bet she is chuffed. What a great thing to show the child when he/she is old enough to appreciate it.

Hi Denny,
you have the memory of an elephant. This is my final version, slightly altered in format. I was going to go for the long thin version, but found that this was going to be around 20 cm hich x 83cm wide. This was impractical for framing (off the shelf) so with a little jiggery-pokery I decided on this layout.

I have seen and done simailar in the past, the problem is catching a willing model at the right time. The mother/model is very happy with the result, however what depresses me more is the fact that she is even more pleased with 'A mothers arms' which was a spur of the moment shot on the final shoot and took only 3 - 4 hours to produce rather than one which took 9 months of planning. Don't figure!

Just excellent Phil. What better memory could the mum hand over to her child...
