Mate she is gorgeous and with a hint of sadness. This i concluded before reading your details. A sad day for her and the family no doubt but a beautiful warming picture amongst such unfortunate sadness. You did well my friend. The rose is such a lovely touch. Saying well done seems so inappropriate in the circumstances. I hope you know what I mean.

Thank you so much for your kind comments. R was very close to her grandpa, who was a kind and gentle man, and the best father in law one could ever have wished for. I was asked to take photos of the day for the family; who had gathered to remember him at his favourite place.
