Action shot from marathon
Photographers Comments
First attempt at action shots of people with my camera. would like some feedback please on whether i have got it right wrong or even if its rubbish! Dont hold back, i found it difficult as they are moving quickly and you dont have to time to frame e.t.c.

Hi Dennis, I know what you mean, trying to frame a shot when everyone is moving. But as these are runners, I think that I would have liked to have seen their legs and feet.

Well you got the pain in the face of the 2nd from right.
After another look at this image, you had the same problem that I encountered with my mountainbikers wearing white, I found that I needed to slightly underexpose so that the white clothing still held some detail, as you can always brighten the darker areas back up in PS.

That is much better, it is giving a good feeling of the event, and I like the composition of this one. Although I do find the edge of those cars distracting, but that can easily be clowned out.

If you have a Flicka account then you can always link to that, to add extra shots to a thread. That is what I and others seem to do.

Hi Dennis,
1st shot, you have captured some great facial expressions, would have been nice to have seen feet etc as Barry has already stated.
2nd Shot, I think is great if you clone out c | | |
