Claire High Key
Photographers Comments
Shot of Claire. Extremely high key, but thats how it was meant to look. just enough to give the viewer knowledge of what they were looking at but also very arty. detail was meant to be only around the hair and eyes and scarce everywhere else..Prob not anyones cup of tea but i love it, one of my fav images of Claire

Absolutely cracking, me old cobber! Most will probably hate it, but don't worry about the chavs. I love the overdone effect, and the composition is super. Very sexy, if I may say so. I wish I met girls like this. Well done.

trying to type with Josh on lap mate, playing with me mobile phone.
composition is just right. i like the high key look and at first i thought colour a bit rich. I copied and pasted into p/shop and drpped saturation a bit and it ruined it. So The colour is good too
I also like the way the viewer is left wondering what else would have been visible had the lighting not hidden it. Its like she is scantilly clad in light. Is scantilly a word?
she is gorgeous and you are a lucky flippin sod!!!

I think it's fabulous....the composition is spot on, the detail in Claires' hair eyes and lips is perfect for this kind of shot too. Great one Andy!!!! (see, I'm so impressed I used your real name) LOL

I have a question for you...
Can you explain the difference between high key and over exposed? One description I read said that there is no black in a high key image, which made sense to me, I suppose it follows that there is no white in a low key image..?
I asked my Grandad if one of my photos was high key once and he said no because the subject wasn't bright.
Sorry no feedback in there for you, but I don't really know what I'm talking about when we get into high/low key...

Love the high key tone, really gives the impact to the eyes, right where it should be for this shot. Superb work.
