Hi Xp1,
I am undecided as to whether I like the effect. As you have stated it has been re-worked from a holiday snap in a bar. Cudos to you for the finished result from that. ie: probably a dimly lit area using on camera flash. probably having a drink so red eye would have been prominant and if the photographer had also been drinking, a little camera shake perhaps. The finished image has a novilty appeal, but not an effect as stated before that I personally would employ. Perhaps if I keep returning to it, it will grow on me. Keep it going mate, you do knock out some very creative work.

this is cool - would make a beautiful present.
i can't quite work out what it is that's distracting me when i look at it, but i think it might be the colours in the boxes that stand out the most. wonder if it might be less distracting to have all greys with minute tonal differences. also pshop out the shine from the daughter's face.
text effect at the bottom looks really polished

I agree with Phil bud. You know I admire your photoshop work and this is no different. However i'm not 100% sure that the hard work you put in suits this image. Like Phil I will be coming back for further viewings.

Thanks guy's
I made a few different versions of the same shot. I should have uploaded the first one as I have framed it and it is pretty good for what it was. I agree now that the colours should not have been so prominent. I really appreciate the feedback.
Cheers.
