Phillipa (wanted a rock style portrait for her web site)

Trying to keep Phillipa occupied, took a few shots today and she wanted a dark and moody shot for her web site, not everyones taste and believe me neither is the Band! I know the colour is different and she is very light and dark but she wants a surreal feel. She likes it so over to you guys!

Hi Dennis, very sharp and I like the way that she is looking straight into the camera lens, you have chose a good background although you do seem to have caught either a lens hood or filter as you have darker areas in all four corners of image. One thing if this image is for a band, would it had worked better if she was holding some sort of instrument or microphone. A good image here with the surreal feel to it.

Hi Mate the edge effect is a lightroom preset, you can add vignettes etc as is the skin effect here is the original so you can see the difference.

the background is the wallpaper in our hall.

Thanks for the feed back and you Di & Barry. Its my new lens Barry, had two comments now re the sharpness, its 18-200mm so i can use for travel e.t.c and cover a good range.

I am an old Rocker that's off His Rocker, but still follow the Music of today. I don't like the 2nd take on this Portrait of Phillipa, however the original is looking very kewl, moody, dark and sullen.

hi again Dennyboy ... ha ha ... I bet they are beaut! Are they Goth .. or New Wave Punk for instance? Dad's are protective ... the look here reminds Me of James Dean (not that Phillipa is Manly) ... it is the moody look, She looks good looking bad!
