I liked this display outside the High St. Butchers, just as I got down to pick an angle this woman turned up, oblivious to what I was doing.
She obviously had more time to waste than me, so I just included her and carried on. A little annoyed with myself for missing the corner of the box and I had 4mm to spare, plus it wasnt straight so I lost a bit more straightening it.

How long have butchers been selling veg?

sign of the times, you cant make money only selling one product nowadays, you have to diversify it seems. a local florist now sells handbags and jewellery too. and the jewellers sells cameras and accessories!

Of course you are right, retailers have to diversify, but the supermarkets are still killing off smaller businesses.

I think Maureen has hit the nail on the head. What a great ad for local prducers, holding two fingers up to the supermarkets.
Nice image bud. A real life jobbie, important pics these. Also that minx has the sexiest ankles I have seen since Margaret Thatcher....hubba hubba...somebody pass me a bowler hat for me lap!

It's a shame she wasn't in costume, her plastic bag and the galvaized steel in the shot don't really fit with the vintage cars do they lol.
