cracking photo..i see loads of babies come thro the studio..i know every parent thinks their baby is good looking but there are some which just arent blessed with good looks when they are tiny..this young chap however is good looking, prob takes after his mum lol!!
keep taking photos, get used to the light matey, nice work!.. best way to do this at home is to point the light straight up at the ceiling. tilt the head direct with no brolly/softbox. push it up as far as your stand will go. bout 6-8 in will be fine. floods the room with light and keeps some ambient light too making a really nice warm shot

many thanks for those comments, and yes he probably does take after his mum lol well thats what i tell her anyway :-)
Biggest problem i have taking these shots is getting him to sit still and look the right way, i am sure babies are born with an anti camera switch :-)
