Photographers Comments
This is the original full body shot of the cropped image Fresh Face.
Now that Ive taken a second look at it, I notice the flare on her foot.
Just wondered you comments on this one compared to Fresh Face.

Okay, appreciate your comments Al, thanks. It is a bit gnarly, and that's probably why I felt compelled to crop it in the first place.
Perhaps if I used DOF a bit better, it would have softened the back ground.
Good point, though, I thanks.

Sorry if I sounded picky, didn't mean to and I see what you mean about the branches in the way causing the crop But the main subject is a lovely looking girl and you could do a lot of other images with her in better settings

Very nice girl, nice pose, great colours, but the backdrop does nothing, and in monochrome just draws attention to it. What does the girl do? She must do something. You could shoot her in context, in an environment that is natural to her and gives more credence to who and what she is. Sorry...

Interesting comments Rob. You've given me something to think about for the next time. I really appreciate it. Thanks so much.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be so casual with my comments. But you had a good subject there (the girl) and a more natural setting - one in which she was in context - would have produced a really good shot. Hope I didn't offend.

No offence taken at all. Actually you made me think in a way that I hadn't before. And, that is very good! So thank you.

Yes this girl's a winner,........as she always photographs so well for you.
But I would have to agree with the others to some extent.... the background has let you down and could do with a little improvement. Taken during the Spring season and bluring the leaves out would certainly give a lift to your subject.
But getting back to your shot, even tho I cound almost except the twiggy background, (maybe blurred out) I do find the stick in the forground as something that should definitely be avoided.
Maybe braking the twig off before photographing for instance.

Also her face seems a little soft in this picture, either from the light or from some inaccurate focusing, but all up I know that you mean well, and that you are at least keeping us entertainted.

Can't wait for your next effort Debbie,

Cheers,
