I like this very much. I find the lighting is a bit harsh on his face, but I think I can see what you were trying to do. The conditions could not have been ideal. I like the inset framing which seems to be of a different focus - may I ask how you did that? Good to see someone shooting ordinary people rather than all the glamour stuff! Very good effort.

thanx for that, the lighting was indeed a nightmare, but i didint want to use flash to fill in as i was a bit "in his face" as it was.
the framing was an experiment which worked better than i thought.......
drew a box inside the image, inverted selection. copied.... opened new layer and pasted. changed the blend mode to multiply, added a stroke of black to the outside and that was that.
gives the illusion of a different focus but its not really.

I just sat and enjoyed this image for several moments and just took it in. Thank you for taking this one as most people seem to take shots of the old iron and not the people (I'm included in that group. I need to include the people.....)......Pat
