Default My Daughter Sarah by Windowlight

Photographers Comments
This was taken by sitting Sarah next to a window whilst my wife Karen held a white T shirt up to her face as a reflector!
I am saving for some studio flash lights, but its surprising what you can achieve for nothing! (spent an hour in photoshop re-touching)

Nice shot of a pretty daughter. But the headband is a big distraction. If you get the image onscreen and scroll down just enough to lose the band you will see what I mean. A white T-Shirt as a reflector - brilliant! The lighting is good. I always think you can't beat a nice gentle window light. Natural as God intended.

Great framing Dave, the head is slightly tilted to get that great natural pose. I agree with the others about the headband but I really don't think it will be much of a problem if you are able to bring the detail back in the blown out part on the right as it's that part of the headband that takes focus away from her eyes.

Nice work Dave!

Second image better buddy. I would have said the eyes look a little over worked in the first (just a tad). Damn she is a pretty thing. If you look like her then I am going to have my first gay thought as a straight married with baby dude!!!! (its a compliment to your family's genetics...trust me and please put your trousers back on!)

Dave your work is very very good as always.

Dude, I have sent my pic to you by email (just ignore any sheep) so you can judge for yourself. Any thoughts invoked or subsequent changes in 'lifestyle' are not the responsibility of the sender.

Thanks for the comments by the way.
