Everyone learns mate and we all have been here. Lift her chin ever so slightly next time to reduce the slight chin she doesnt have if shes reading this..
everything else is just perfect mate, not back to the drawing board, not even a whiff, just fine tuning, not retuning..

I think that the cold hard stare has worked just fine in this case, (for this photo anyway) and I love the blur on her jumper, that seams to worked very well also, but feel it's just too heavy for her hair tho, (sorry)

I also would have liked to have seen slightly larger catch-lights, and I do realize that sometimes this is just not possible, but above all it's the placement of the catch-light which I do feel needs the most attention.
As the centre of the eye is not an best placement in my view.
As a guide, (or to keep in mind), as I must admit I make more mistakes myself than other people do.
When a 1 or 11 (O'clock) is found to be a little difficult, a 2 or 10 would be the next best.

In general Alex a nice over all portrait.
Would love to see some more!

Cheers,

Hi Andy, I shall lose all my girls if they know Brad Pitt is here.
Thanks for the comments, and I will try the fine tuning next time. Hi Joseph, I appreciate what you are saying and am taking it in. I think I need to take more time in the set up. Thanks. Alex
