Andy, Nik was right about these shots, they belong on albums or publicity shots for a band, This is as good as the first one but just prefer the first one personally. Not good for a Maiden album, their covers in a league of their own for the artwork.

Andy, again this is tremendous..... I just love the mood you've set with the low key setup.

I used play in bands on the professional circuit a while ago and would have loved to have shots like these done of myself with my good old sunburst Yamaha 5 string bass and Trace Eliot stacks!!! I feel I've missed out now seeing these shots of yours.

Well done mate, I bet the guitarist is sooooooo chuffed with the images.

Again, I can't find a thing to crit in this one. Superb!

Wow, this is amazing! Great composition too...so creative!
So if the BG is pure white, how did you get it black? Feel so naive at this point.

Hi Debbie, thanks for looking and the comments. using the eraser tool in CS2, basically, "rub out" the BG. going in close around the body and guitar i changed the brush to a small size, blurred the edges ever so slightly, selectively darkened the edges gradually lightening towards the middle..
