Sam Jewellery 3
Photographers Comments
Jewellery shoot lit with Elinchrom fitted with softbox and gold reflector - the brief dictated a warm look which complimented the peices and the idea was to have a series of lifestyle images to accompany the close up macro shots of the jewellery. Some problems with blown out areas on the skin, these were taken a few years ago with a fuji S2Pro and my skills were a bit more limited lighting wise - great project though

This is prob the weakest of this batch of shots..the rest being close up have lots to interest the eye. maybe if the jewellery had been bigger to create more of an impact..? Still, thats art directors for you..bloody pain the proverbial they are, they are..

Hello Andy,
To sell jewelry, I believe this one is the best one! The model is upright and shows the jewelry in a natural way that it would be worn. For me, when the eyes of the model are looking at me, I want to look at her eyes as I'm just drawn to them. With model "looking" at herself in the mirror, I can comfortably look at the jewelry to see how it looks on her.
For a general pose, I like this one the best. You have positioned the hands in a very natural way for this model looking at herself in the mirror. Well done!....Pat
Just a causual observer of photos...
