Hi Andy,
Good use of the tri-angular (Pyramid) shape made by the subjects in this image. The blown out areas on the whites has already been explained. Good eye contact with all your subjects. A nice keeper for a good looking family.

Hi Genese,
I suspect that this image was processed for printing, and as such it would be just about the correct level of brightness for that purpose. However, you are correct if this was for web page display only.

Andy, you are the master at posing people and how on earth did you manage to get all of them to look so relaxed? I can picture this on canvas on a very proud mum and dads wall.
Full marks from me, well done.

this shot was batched on a different monitor and i have a feeling it is a tad bright but the white are blown due to Pshop's diffuse filter which i had on quite a heavy setting on purpose

Hey Andy,
This is good stuff, good pyramid formation, great interaction with the family. Not sure about the colour aspect - I am not a huge fan of it as you know prefferring a more real look - would be good just in black and white or full colour with just a bit up on the curves. Just one little crit - the critter at the front could have been moved over to the left more so all of him was in the image - maybe leaning on his side but with one knee up and his other leg tucked back - I just feel he is cut off at the waist a bit. However - maybe I am being a bit picky. Great shot though, I am sure the parents were over the moon,
well done bud!
