Little dude destined for greatness.
Had bad skin so was a bit busy in p/shop. Over the top to an extent but im hoping the print will be a bit flatter in colour.

Now, those are apple cheeks. the parents will adore this. Wonderful mouth expression..like that we can see in subtley, onto his tongue.
My husband is a redhead..and I so hoped that one of my children would come out looking like this...didn't happen. (but they did get the cowlicks.) Love that little neck wrinkle...it's just a little thing..but mother's love that.

If he had bad skin you did a great job in PS! He now looks like a modern day "Pears Soap" ad........toooo cute.
I love the mouth too and his eyes are gorgeous. I think that you've got the balance of black right in this one .

Cool shot dude. Great skin tones and the expression esp the mouth says it all. the tiny glint in the left eye bothers and i would prob clone over his lips to remove highlights as well. stunning shot mate and you should be well proud.
off topic, recently i have started looking for awards and competitions to win. your shot of son and dad should really be put in...think about it mate, as some of your low key portraits are got enough for the big stage..

Cheers Andy mate appreciate the advice as always, i'll remove those spots before printing.
If things don't pick up within the next 3 months i'll be selling up all my gear (while its still got reasonable market value) so i'll try anything at the moment. Where abouts are you looking for these comps and awards?

have to get back to you on that one. still hunting for the best ones myself. i know the MPA have monthly print comp as do the SWPP. i think yo have to be members but not qualified but i'm still hunting for more..

Tco, I just had a good look and see there is one spot that u might think about doing a bit of work on .. it's just over his left ear on the RHS of the photo ... it's a bit of a lighter mark around a red rash .. it always helps with many eyes looking at it ... Love the photo of this sweet looking little face .. great catchlights in the eyes ... Thanks for sharing ..
