Hi Joseph, i actually like her looking "away" can imagine some young hot bit of talent over in the corner of the room catching her attention Love the addition of the red scarf, adds... er... zing? to the portrait, if you can use that as a word lol. Unfortunately, i can't comment re the green that Andy's mentioned, although looking at her hair (near forehead) that could be what he means? The only trouble is with some hair colourings (especially bleach - and if she does colour her hair that is) then this can give green tinges if not done correctly/too often? Point to ponder on eh. Hope that helps? Hugs, loopy.x

Thanks for your reply Andy, hot spots would be a worry with such a big lamp, it could have been a little more of good luck than good management.
Not so sure where you are getting the excessive green from, it's looking too yellow for my liking.
During a recent move I dropped my Monitor and it is now showing a bluish colour shift, eg: or reading minus yellow,
Hence the yellow cast.
Cheers,

Hi Loopy,
Do you know you're right about this looking away thing.
This girl dosen't photograph all that well, and looking away or with the closed eyes that I was critized for seems to suit her better.
And I also agree with you about that scarf, yes it's a nice scarf and it adds a little zing.........Andy is seeing a green cast!
and Hugz back to.
Thanks pilippa (from Wales too) as I have said eariler she wasn't the easiest sitter that I've photographed, and the looking away and the addition of the scarf just added a little.
Cheers,
And thank you also Sharon, we all seem to be agree.
Andy,
Your monitor should be in better colour calibrtion than ours, (pity mines out at the moment) but I have viewed it on a number of different monitors and they are all showing me a stight yellow cast in different strenghts.
Lets wait and see if Phil or TC come on board.
Cheers,

Hi Joseph I also like this for all the reasons said above.....must be a girl thing!
I also get a greenish cast on my screen, mainly in her hair but also some of the skin tones too.
I hope that you get your monitor sorted, it must be a real pain in the neck!
