Taken with two light set-up using Tungsten and captured with Tiff. I got an EV reading of 10 and once again used an unlit Black backdrop. I was keen to see how the sensor would preform, in this S2. Fuji boast that their double diode sensor has the tonal range of film caputure and with skin tones that can also match film. I must admit I do like the idea behind their sensor, but was not as enthusiastic with their Menu.

Hello Tco. Must admit I'm not very happy with this. And have been trying to find some way that I could delete it but I can't
This girl surprisingly was not the easiest to work with, but I will Post a better one of her later.

I know what you mean. Sometimes i'll shoot someone that is so photogenic (as the beautiful girl you have here is) but they become a nightmare either because they do not pose particularly well or indeed become difficult and try and take control of the shoot.

Great shot, altho i agree with the comment about the eyes. Not so keen on the artworked black bg as well. maybe 1 light would have made the black stand out better and given a touch more shape with light and shadows. having said that the skin tones are nice and the pose is strong. havent worked in tungsten for portraiture before so not really aware of hard it would have been

What a pretty Model You have here Joseph ... all this Lighting stuff is way beyond Me, I am still working with Desk Top Lamps and Candles.

Thanks boys. Tco you know it may seem strange but this girl actually looked better with her eyes closed, except for one of the later shots. I was disappoined in the colour, as the original had very nice skin tones.
but this upload has has turned out very orange. Never mind she looks better in another shot that I have.

I'm with Tedz on the lighting stuff......I use a clip on desk lamp if I don't have really good natural light lol.

Good shot though Joeseph and well posed, and I agree about the eye thing....it makes her look a bit smug...then again if i was as pretty/young as her I expect I would too
