Courtney was lit using a single Flash Head with a reversed umbrella, very simple and something which just seemed to work better that I would have previously thought.
Her friend had explained to me that She had been very sick for most of the day, so it was very good to see her brighten up.

two things jump out at me for this, one is the arm being cropped awkwardly on the RHS and the skin tones look desaturated somewhat. not sure about the shadow of her thumb on her chest (wasnt looking for any reason!) however i do like the movement of her hair and you connect with her eyes straight away..

Thank you Andy (we are getting a few Andies on our forum now, to I might add)
This photo seemed to have gotten uploaded about three times in different spots. It was my first upload I think.
Yes the arm being cut awkwardly had been mentioned before, and as I had explained Courtney was pre focused and was spinning at the time of capture. She was focused as a tin soldier, and I just didn't allow for anything extra.
This was my first digital Camera Andy (later to be stolen) and I had it for approximately 5 months, and I was just becoming proficient with the menu as well.
The skin tone does look a little washed on this version,
I think it was fine on the others.
Well I think it's time for me to upload something else before I go on holiday, as I will be away for a while.
Thank you for your comments........please visit again.
Cheers,
