You have got the hi-key effect ok, I like it very much with the eyes, nose and lips in sharp focus and the rest softer. Only negative comment that I have is that the eyes look different colours (right) blue and (left) green.

Thanks Barry. You're right about the eyes but thats the way they are. I considered getting rid of the blue but decided not to in the end....

I'm not knowledgeable enough to critique on the hi-key technique but I will say that I love what is going on especially at the bottom of the image,..her neck and up to her whispy hair and earring, looks like soft buttery porcelain....lol
The one cheek fades too much into the background..for me.
