I like that,
it's exposed to the right without being blown out, something I can't seem to manage yet, good comp and focus bang on the eyes.

I think the Nikon 70-200 f 2.8 really lifts some images to another level and the S5 has the extra dynamic range that makes life easier, thanks for your comments

To be ultra critical it looks a bit over to me. The veil is blown a wee bit. The tonal range is extreme to be fair and the hair has enough info to warrant detail. Nice comp, but would have been nicer if she was looking at cam in this instance because it is more portrait bias than p/journalistic.
Maybe bring in the mids a touch in post.
Bear in mind these are all nit picks and its a wonderful image that stands well on its own.

to be fair ugly boy, i think the blown areas are due to the diffuse glo or soft focus?? some thing anyway, the face is only a touch over but still looks good for it..

Keith mate, i shot weddings for nearly 7 years and i miss them immensely. TeeSeeOh above(ugly boy to you and I) shoot some seriously good stuff so his comments are worthwhile...(that worth a fiver bud?)

Nice shot and great portrait, good expression and wonderful eyes...nice start to your PT life mate!

Thanks for you constructive comment I'm sure the only blow outs are the specular highlight histogram wise but that can be subjective as the Fujiraw software gives 3 alternate histogram views in the preferences menu.
I don't mind letting the background go and the diffusion can sometimes kick the highlights up.

Keith it looks lovely mate. It always helps to have an attractive bride. Most of mine of late are all around the 20 stone mark.
