Hi Alan, some real blue going on on my screen, have just adjusted the white balance by picking up a neutral grey in the image. Nice Retro feel to the shot, gave it a more retro feel in the second shot if you dont like either thats fine!

Damn you! I liked my version but LOVE both of yours! I tried to get rid of the blue cast but couldn't.

Hi Mate, worry about upsetting you when i have a fiddle! dont know what editing tools you have but all i did was get the midtones eyedropper and pick a grey bit of the image and then clicked it. Can be curves or levels or colour adjustment depending on program used. The second one is a one click adjustment in Lightroom i have saved as preset to give an old feel to images that would be better for it. Gives it more of a retro feel like the film.

yes if its Elements 6 or 7 you can use colour curves i think its called, or any version you can use levels. It has 3 eyedroppers and you click the centre one on a grey bit say the guys suit. so its adjustments>colour curves or adjustments>Levels from memory as i use CS3 principle the same. You camera was confronted with a lot od blue looking at the image and made it colder than it needed to be.

I've used the control for 'skin tones' and 'as if by magic' everything brightens up! Cheers for the tip!!
