I shot a few frames of my nephew today and tried out some of the tips Ive been getting.
Thanks to those that have helped me recently, still a long way to go, but dragging myself there slowly.

Great shot Merv. Love the B+W conversion. He has such gorgeous eyes! Lovely reflections in those HUGE eyes too. BG is not distracting and the focus and detail is spot on for me!

Thanks guys, I have been working very hard on trying to enhance eyes without them looking fake, I have always envied the glassy look people seem to manage but I never did.
I thought it might get slated for the dummy...

To be honest Merv the dummy didnt even come to my notice very much and now you mentioned it i think it softens the outlook of Mitch slightly as his hair colour and thoooose eyes are quite powerful.
Pat on the back Merv! id love to be able to do something like this.

It was just that my mum asked if I had any without the dummy.

Hi Merv, Wow .. and ditto, ditto and ditto ... lol ... everything has been said..

Did you sharpen the eyes twice ..?? just out of curiosity ... I have read somewhere maybe even in here or a book .. .. that is what should be done. I am a avid reader . but sure don't retain it all.
