Thanks for your post, some useful things in there for me to hear, especially as you rate the quality so highly.

I have recently had plenty of time to sit, learn, develop and improve my photography and I'm pushing myself very hard to improve but I still feel that I have a long way to go to leave my beginner status behind me.

Your feedback as a Dad not a tog is just as useful if not more, again thanks very much.

For me, this is the best of the series of shots you have taken of your nephew. Quite apart from the amazing eyes and feel of the shot, I find it an emotionally stirring image. Outstanding!!
